Base on a case of torrential rainstorm in Beijing and combined with the spirit of the notice published by the general office of the state council on March 25, 2013, some advice on building urban underground sluice facilities and improving the urban drain ability are put forward. The kinds of prefabricated concrete culverts for building urban underground reservoirs are introduced. The product specification table commonly used for the precast concrete culvert with cover plate is listed, and the internal force calculation method of the culvert is briefly illustrated.
