The achievement of SIP calling of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) in tri-play switch is presented in detail, the processing flow of SIP calling is discussed and the GPL oSIP protocol stack is applied to achieve SIP calling, includ-ing registration, phone number processing, and connecting as well as hang-up process. The detail achievement of SIP calling in tri-play switch was described from principle. The operating mechanism of SIP protocol stack was analyzed in detail and the SIP protocol stack was successfully transplanted to tri-play switch. On this basis, the SIP calling-based achievement scheme was developed.
