北京钢铁学院是新中国早期成立的单科性工业学院的典型代表。20世纪五六十年代，北京钢铁学院形成了以“爱国、奉献、崇实、求是、争先、创优”为主要内容的核心价值观，形成了以“理想主义的家国情怀，崇实求是的学术精神，敢为人先的创新品格”为主要特征的大学精神，形成了独具特色的优秀大学文化。
北京鋼鐵學院是新中國早期成立的單科性工業學院的典型代錶。20世紀五六十年代，北京鋼鐵學院形成瞭以“愛國、奉獻、崇實、求是、爭先、創優”為主要內容的覈心價值觀，形成瞭以“理想主義的傢國情懷，崇實求是的學術精神，敢為人先的創新品格”為主要特徵的大學精神，形成瞭獨具特色的優秀大學文化。
북경강철학원시신중국조기성립적단과성공업학원적전형대표。20세기오륙십년대，북경강철학원형성료이“애국、봉헌、숭실、구시、쟁선、창우”위주요내용적핵심개치관，형성료이“이상주의적가국정부，숭실구시적학술정신，감위인선적창신품격”위주요특정적대학정신，형성료독구특색적우수대학문화。
Beijing Institute of Iron and Steel Technology is a typical representative of the single industrial institutes at the initial stage of new China. In the 1950s and 1960s, Beijing Institute of Iron and Steel Technology formed its own core values of“patrio-tism, dedication, practicalness, honesty,contending and excellence”, its spirits of“the idealistic national feelings, realistic aca-demic spirit and the innovative character”and its own excellent cultural characteristic.
