The types and occurring reasons of defects were listed according to the characteristics of fibre reinforced composites .The knock detection in the non-destructive test applicapable to composite products were discussed in this paper .The basic principle , method classification and applicapable scope of knock techniques were introduced .The traditional knock and the digitknock were compared .The future development of the knock techniques were summarized .
