泰州地区现存的许多古桥已历经百年风雨洗礼，或多或少存在一定的病害。为了更好地有效保护泰州地区的古桥，文章系统研究泰州地区古桥独特的尖拱法施工、小木桩加固软土地基等施工方法，研究独特地体现水乡文化的古桥施工细部装饰构造等，为古桥的进一步保护修缮提供参考依据。

Some ancient bridges in Taizhou area have undergone the operation for a century,there is a certain damage more or less. In order to protect these ancient bridges better, this paper systematically studies the unique method that strengthen the arch through thwacking wedge-shaped block to making it a whole support system, the method that reinforced soft ground by small stakes and other construction methods, research decorative de-tailed structure that reflect the unique water culture, to provide reference for further preservation and restoration for these ancient bridges.
