The determination of gold by activated carbon adsorption-atomic absorption spectrophotometry was carried out .The effects of sample roasting ,dissolution ,loaded thickness of activated carbon paper pulp , ashing of activated carbon on determination of gold were examined .The optimum analytical conditions w ere discussed .
