The service orientation of a library has an essential guiding function to the development of the institute itself. From the perspective of a university’s main social functions, the orientation of the library of Honghe University is established as serving the personnel training, the scientific research, the society, the cultural inheriting and the innovating. This is targeted at improving the library’s service capability and soft power at a comprehensive level.
