The basic physical properties of three drawing grade polypropylene including 1102K,T30S,F401 produced with different technologies were analyzed. The stereoregularity, relative molecular mass and its distribution, heat stability and crystal structure of the three kinds of polypropylene were studied by means of temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), gel permeation chromatograph (GPC) and polarized light microscopy (PLM). Compared with its counterparts T30S and F401, 1102K has the highest isotactic index, crystallinity and the smallest spherulite and the narrowest relative molecular mass distribution, being the most beneficial to drawing forming.
