介绍了评估100 Gbit/s线路侧光收发模块性能的两个指标:接收机 OSNR(光信噪比)容限和 Pre-FEC(纠错前)对应模块最大误码率的 OSNR值。前者用于评估光模块硬件和软件算法的总体性能,后者用于评估光模块关闭软件算法后的性能。给出了测试框图,采用积分法进行测试,需要对测试结果进行校准。该测试方法对其他线路侧光模块的 OSNR测试有一定的借鉴作用。

Two parameters for evaluating the performances of 100 Gbit/s line transponder are introduced in this paper:receiver Optical Signal Noise Ratio (OSNR)tolerance and pre-FEC OSNR corresponding to the maximum module BER.The former is used to evaluate the overall performance of the hardware and software algorithms of the optical module,while the latter is used to evaluate the performances of the optical module after the software algorithm is closed.Furthermore,the test block is given, tests are performed by using the integral method and the test results are to be calibrated.This test method has certain value of reference for the OSNR tests on other line optical modules.
