矿山宝地区位于中生代火山断陷盆地麻布岗盆地南缘，盆地经历了地槽-大陆边缘活动带的发展演化阶段和相应的加里东-印支-燕山构造旋回，形成许多褶皱、断裂和火山机构。构造发育且火山岩分布较广。本区的以往工作发现了一批铁、铅、锌、铜、锡等多金属矿(化)点，文章通过分析区域成矿背景、矿区的地质特征以及地球化学特征指出了矿区良好的找矿前景和找矿方向。

Kuangshanbao is located in the south margin of Meso-zoic volcano faulted basin, in Long Chuan, Guangdong province. The basin has experienced the evolution stage of the development of edge geosyncline -continental zone and the corresponding Caledonian-In-dosinian -Yanshanian tectonic cycle, forged many folds, faults and volcano mechanism. The faults and the volcano rock is widely dis-tributed. Based on the previous works, found a number of iron, lead, zinc, copper, tin polymetallic ore deposit (mineralization) in this area. The article points out that the good prospecting and prospecting direc-tion through the analysis of the geological characteristics of regional metallogenic background, mining and geochemical characteristics in this mining area.
