环京津地区与首都之间巨大的经济落差严重影响了这一区域的一体化进程和同步发展，因此，政府应通过政策、经济和行政等手段，探索消除环京津贫困带的有效措施，从根本上解决环京津地区的贫困问题，构建区域和谐社会。无论从当下，还是从长远的角度来看，消除环京津贫困带都是促进该区域社会经济良性发展的前提，是政府迫在眉睫的任务。
