脑肿瘤中的胶质瘤为颅内发病率最高的恶性肿瘤，并具有高度恶性和侵袭性生长的生物学特性，治疗后常常迅速复发。近年来 miRNA 针对恶性肿瘤的重要作用成为医学界重大发现，这使得在基因分子水平上对胶质瘤的有效治疗获得希望。 miR-451针对众多恶性肿瘤均存在明确的生物学活性，国内外针对胶质瘤的研究也较为突出，能对肿瘤侵袭性产生明显抑制作用，显示了 miR-451在针对胶质瘤的诊断及治疗上拥有重要的研究价值。

The incidence rate of glioma is the highest among all of the brain tumors. Those tumors are highly malignant and have the biological characteristic of invasive growth. Operation, chemotherapy and radio therapy, which have applied in clinic currently, cannot achieve a satisfactory therapeutic effect. Glioma may recur rapidly after the treatment. In recent years, the important role of miRNA in malignant tumors has become an important discovery in medical science. It will be a promising therapy at the molecular lev-el. According to a series of studies, miR-451 has a certain biologic activities on malignant tumors, including brain glioma. It can in-hibit the invasive growth of glioma. And these studies show that miR-451 has important values in the diagnosis and treatment of glio-ma.
