According to the depletion of coal resources, mining coal pillars have become necessary to maintain production in Wangzhuang mine. The study focused on equipment selection and roadway supporting in 43M1 fully-mechanized mining face. The ideal technical and economic effects laid a basis for safe and efficient residual pillar mining, which could be helpful for the equipment selection and roadway supporting in similar working faces.
