The application range of nonstandard fastening mechanism in die for forming vehi-cle door was presented. The working principle of the mechanism and the design of insert, support seat and slider were introduced. The nonstandard mechanism can be installed in-side the vehicle door and window frame where fastening is needed but standard pre-bend-ing mechanism can not be mounted.
