In the early operation stage of Guandi hydropower station , the technical water supply system for the No .1 generator set was blocked by drifts .Consequently , the supply of cooling water for the generator was seriously insuffi-cient, which jeopardize the operation safety of the station .Temporary emergency measures are presented and suggestion is made that such problem can be solved only in fundamental ways .
