介绍了水电工程设计档案整编的原则、阶段、步骤，指出档案整编必须结合水电工程阶段多、历时长、人员流动性大、专业性强等特点，在国家、行业法规及规范的指导下，加强整编工作程序的规范化、标准化、科学化，以达到档案资料便于检索、查询和利用的目的，对实际工作中遇到的问题也进行了探讨。

The archive organization principles , stages and steps for design documents of hydropower projects are intro-duced .Features of the hydropower project should be considered in the organization of technical archives , such as multi-stage, long duration, high personnel mobility , professional and so on .To facilitate the process of document retrieval , query and utilization , the organization procedures should be normative , standard and scientific , under the guidance of the state and industrial regulations and specifications .In the end , some issues encountered in the practice are dis-cussed .
