The characteristics of hot rolling wastewater and the treatment process of tur-bid circulating water at a 1580mm hot rolling mill of some steelmaking works are introduced. Existing problems in the sludge treatment system during actual operation of the process are analyzed in detail, effective transformation measures are put forward and, finally, the two sludge treatment processes of rare-earth magnet purification and screw centrifuge are com-pared, to obtain the optimal treatment method.
