快速多极子边界元法是近年来快速发展和应用的一种新的数值计算方法,对于解决大规模问题具有十分明显的优势;首先,对快速多极算法进行了总述,阐述了基本原理、数学基础和实现步骤;然后,对其在基础领域和各个工程领域内的研究进展做了一定的总结和概括,并着重介绍了其在声学问题和流固耦合问题中的应用;最后,简要展望了快速多极边界元方法的发展趋势。
快速多極子邊界元法是近年來快速髮展和應用的一種新的數值計算方法,對于解決大規模問題具有十分明顯的優勢;首先,對快速多極算法進行瞭總述,闡述瞭基本原理、數學基礎和實現步驟;然後,對其在基礎領域和各箇工程領域內的研究進展做瞭一定的總結和概括,併著重介紹瞭其在聲學問題和流固耦閤問題中的應用;最後,簡要展望瞭快速多極邊界元方法的髮展趨勢。

The fast multipole boundary element method is a new numerical method that has been developed and applied rapidly in recent years. It has an obvious advantage towards large-scale problem. This article firstly gave a comprehensive description of FMBEM,including basic theory,mathematical formulas and im-plementation steps. Then a review of applications in basic and engineering areas was presented. The appli-cation of FMBEM to solving the acoustic problem and fluid-structure interaction problem was emphasized here. Finally,some future studying directions in FMBEM were pointed out.
