Multi-functional development has been more and more involved in the development of rail com-plex and the design orientation and method for these complexes should be also amended to meet the new ris-ing demand of these trends. From analyzing the keys of success for interchange hub and the new characteris-tics of passengers, a revised design method is proposed for these interchange hubs.
