Conventional varieties and better lines were planted at trial district in Donghe farm, to screen high-yield and high-quality new rice varieties by field investigation and interior test. The result indicated that Longjing-29, Longjing-31 and Longjing-40 had better yield, quality and resistance, and Longjing-32, Longjiao07-1963 and Longjing-25 should pay attention to fertilizer quantity to prevent lodging.
