The instinct advantages of H-type finned tube for application in feed-water preheater of industrial furnace were introduces and analyzed in this paper,it has good performances in the area of anti-accumulation of smoke dust and re-sistance to abrasion as well.Effective H-type finned tube,being economic and practical,is usually installed in the end por-tion of the smoke-tunnel,may notably increase thermal efficiency of the industrial furnace,hence it has been widely used in the variety of industrial furnaces.Application results of the H-type finned tube in waste-heat recovery apparatus by engi-neering examples were introduced,and relative formulas of heat transfer and flow resistance of it were recommended.
