The large scale construction of high standard farmland capable of against drought and flood is an important strategic measure to enhance China’s food security. This paper puts forward measures for the high standard farmland construction in Gongzhuling city on the basis of high standard farmland construction standard, and in view of the actual land situation in Gongzhuling city following the establishment of evaluation system and the analysis of the limiting factors of cultivated land.
