生物质燃烧生成的烟雾是人为造成空气污染的古老的世界性问题，生物质燃烧可使周围环境中的有机化合物、无机化合物和不溶性颗粒物等污染物显著增加。暴露在生物质燃烧的烟雾中可引起多种呼吸系统疾病，同时也是心血管系统疾病的危险因素。本文结合国内外相关文献对生物质燃烧与呼吸和心血管系统疾病关系的研究进展做一综述，以增强人们对生物质燃烧危害的认识。

Smoke from biomass combustion is the world′s oldest anthropogenic air pollution and contributes significantly to ambient levels of organic chemicals,inorganic chemicals,and particulate matters and so on. Exposure to biomass burning has been found to be associated with many respiratory diseases,biomass burning also may be a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Here,we review recent insights into biomass burning and its relation with respiratory and cardiovascular disease,in order to pro-mote people′s awareness of the harm of biomass burning.
