This paper introduces the application of combined technology of mechanical machining and electrical discharge machining in the manufacturing of narrow path closed-type impeller,it can be fully proved by the test comparison that the combined machining technology is a effective solution to the low machining efficiency of EDM and the interference problem of mechanical machining.
