There are comprehensive obscure concepts and lengthy formulas in modern physics courses, which bring great challenges during teaching. We demonstrate the promotions of historical al-lusions to the teaching of modern physic. Historical allusions could attract students' attention, add more interest, know the background of development, and understand the underlying meaning of the knowledge.
