This paper discussed the pioneering , guiding and guaranteeing effects of patent informa -tion on enterprise technical innovation.Taking patent informations of refractory free chrome for RH furnace refinement as example,the patent information combined its advantages with technical innova -tion and transformed technical innovation into productivity to maximize the economic benefit .
