目的：探讨老年高血压患者脉压指数与认知功能之间的关系。方法选择符合老年高血压病诊断标准的102例受试者，对所有受试者进行MMSE评分，根据评分结果将其分为认知功能正常组和认知功能受损组，比较两组受试者脉压、脉压指数的差别。结果认知功能受损组脉压、脉压指数明显高于认知功能正常组，差异具有统计学意义（P＜0．05）。结论老年高血压患者认知功能受损与脉压指数增高有关。
목적：탐토노년고혈압환자맥압지수여인지공능지간적관계。방법선택부합노년고혈압병진단표준적102례수시자，대소유수시자진행MMSE평분，근거평분결과장기분위인지공능정상조화인지공능수손조，비교량조수시자맥압、맥압지수적차별。결과인지공능수손조맥압、맥압지수명현고우인지공능정상조，차이구유통계학의의（P＜0．05）。결론노년고혈압환자인지공능수손여맥압지수증고유관。
Objective To study the relationship between pulse pressure index and cognitive function in the elderly patients with hy-pertension.Methods 102 elderly patients with hypertension were selected.According to the score of MMSE,the individuals were divided into group 1(with normal cognition)and group 2(with impaired cognition).Pulse pressure and pulse pressure index were observed and compared in the two groups.Results Pulse pressure and pulse pressure index were significantly higher in group 2 than in group 1 (P<0.01).Con-clusion Cognitive function impairment in elderly patients with hypertension is closely associated with high pulse pressure index.
