甘薯新品种龙薯14号是以浙薯60-2为母本、广薯88-70为父本进行杂交选育而成的优质食用型新品种,2008年和2013年分别通过福建省品种审定和国家品种鉴定。其主要特征特性:鲜薯产量为28.16~43.80 t · hm -2,是对照金山57或广薯87的82.10%~103.90%;薯干产量为8.05~11.30 t · hm -2,是对照的96.50%~109.10%;淀粉产量为5.21~7.51 t · hm -2,是对照种的98.80%~110.83%。薯块干物率、淀粉率分别约为30.00%、19.00%,都高于对照金山57和广薯87,食味评分分别比金山57、广薯87高为3.2分和1.3分,其大部分主要营养成分含量都高于金山57,食味品质很好。高抗蔓割病、中抗薯瘟病,红皮淡黄肉、薯形光滑美观、商品性好。栽培技术要点:密度5.25万~6.00万株· hm -2,全生育期控制在140 d以上,施足基肥、后期注意追肥。

Longshu 14 was a sweet potato variety bred by crossing Zheshu 60-2 and Guangshu 87. It has passed the national registration in 2008 and the provincial registrations in 2013. The fresh yield of the variety was 28.16 -43.80 t · hm-2 ,which was 82.10% -103.90% of that of the reference varieties (CK) ,Jinshan 57 or Guangshu 87. Its dry yield was 8.05-11.30 t · hm -2 ,which was 96.50% -109.10% of that of CK .Its starch production was 5.21-7.51 t · hm -2 ,which was 98.80% -110.83% of CK′s .Its tuber dry matter and starch contents were higher than CK ,approximately 30% and 19% ,respectively .And ,most of its major nutrients were in higher concentrations than those in Jinshan 57. This newly bred variety also exhibited a high resistance to fusarium wilt and moderately resistant to bacterial wilt .It had a red skin ,yellowish flesh ,and appealing appearance ,which were considered to be of high commercial value .It was recommended to plant 52 500 to 60 000 plants per hectare ,allow a grow th period of longer than 140 days ,and fertilize normally with an added late stage topdressing .
