With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the market of smart mobile terminals is booming. Mobile processor development changes the pattern of integrated circuit(IC) technolo-gy and industry domestic as well as abroad. This pa-per studies the status of the development of mobile chips, as well as the opportunities and challenges of industry in China. Several suggestions have been made to China's IC industry development.
