Currently, smart terminal has become the major profit source of communications companies; it has important significance for development of the com-munications industry. It is believed that the terminal technology make the revolution of information technol-ogy industry in past 10 years, but also profoundly changed the pattern of the entire communication in-dustry. This paper discusses the current development of LTE terminal, the key technology of LTE terminal and the challenges to meet. At last, the prospect of future LTE terminal development is given.
