Considering the multinational trend of ship technology level and the manning , the new characteristics of naviga-tion and the contradiction between the increasingly prominent maritime education and training , the teaching approaches were dis-cussed about to cultivate the students having the spirit of love and dedication , teamwork, being able to pull together in times of trouble, with good occupation habits , good professional skills and the ability of sustainable development in the new requirements of the convention .
