the full-English teaching of professional curriculum%the effect of full-English teaching%strategies for problems of full-English teaching
目的:为了解高校本科生对全英语教学的态度、参与程度及对全英语教学效果评价等,对武汉市各层次高校专业课程全英语教学的现状进行调查分析。方法采用自制问卷,严格按照全英语教学的定义,随机抽取武汉市985和211高校已开展非语言类全英语课程的本科生345人进行调查。结果本科生对全英语教学的认可程度与其英语水平相关,但对全英语教学效果的评价不容乐观;学生与教师对全英语教学的重视程度不足,但985高校明显好于211高校。结论专业课程的全英语教学有赖于学生和教师的英语素质,应针对国家对国际化高端人才的需求,设置特定标准甄选教师和学生,合理设置课程体系,是当前全英语教学的首要任务。

Objective To study the undergraduates’ attitude ,participation and assessments in profes-sional course teaching ,we performed the survey and analyzed the situation of the“professional curric-ulum teaching in English” in the different levels’ universities in Wuhan . Methods According to the definition of “full-English teaching” ,four universities were selected randomly and 345 undergraduates w ho have experienced in“professional curriculum teaching in English”participated in this survey .Re-sults Approval in “professional curriculum teaching in English” is closely correlated with the under-graduates’ English level and English interests .However ,the assessments from undergraduates on teaching results of “professional curriculum teaching in English” are far from satisfied .In addition , both students and teachers didn’ t pay enough attention on and put enough efforts in this teaching method although the situation in “985 project” universities is better than that in “211 project” .Con-clusion The effect of professional curriculum teaching in English depends on both teachers ’ and students’ English levels ,therefore the urgent tasks in professional curriculum teaching in English is , according to the requirement of international high-capable talents in our nation ,to establish the per-mission standard for teachers and students ,and curriculum system .
