The Han dynasty bamboo slip from Xuanquan, numbered Ⅱ0214①:130, has provided rich information about the traffic routes and mileage in the four prefectures of the Hexi Region in the Han dynasty. This paper discusses the establishment of the 11 posts of the Jiuquan prefecture and their locations on the basis of field investigation and textual research.
