通过对敦煌壁画高清数字化图片的观察,佐以斯里兰卡丹布拉石窟和狮子岩壁画的诸多细节,认为石窟壁画和彩塑中佛、菩萨、飞天等形象的服饰与我国的家蚕丝织品关系密切,是人间丝绸服装在佛教壁画的生动展现。
通過對敦煌壁畫高清數字化圖片的觀察,佐以斯裏蘭卡丹佈拉石窟和獅子巖壁畫的諸多細節,認為石窟壁畫和綵塑中彿、菩薩、飛天等形象的服飾與我國的傢蠶絲織品關繫密切,是人間絲綢服裝在彿教壁畫的生動展現。

A careful examination of HD digital pictures of Dunhuang wall paintings together with many details of the wall paintings from the Dambulla Cave Temple and Lion Rock paintings in Sri Lanka suggests that the costumes of both sculpted and painted Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and apsaras in the caves reflect a familiarity with Chinese silk fabrics, and vividly represent secular silk costumes in the Buddhist wall paintings.
