高职图书馆的主要读者是青年大学生,他们刚刚结束紧张的中学阶段的学习生活,来到一个陌生的学习生活环境,对高职图书馆的情况还不了解,他们的知识面还只限于从课堂上获取的那一部分,他们求知欲强,但缺少自学自育的能力,世界观还没有最后形成,可塑性强等特点,高职图书馆由于它本身的使命有必要利用开展读者导读工作对大学生进行各种形式的读书教育活动以激发他们的读书兴趣,引导他们的读书内容,提高他们的读书效率。
