运用实证研究的方法,以北京航空航天大学北海学院2012级两个班的学生为研究对象,进行了历时一年的隐性分层教学,考察了隐性分层教学在独立学院英语教学中的效果。结果表明:隐性分层教学能充分调动学生的积极性,有效激发学生的学习兴趣、培养学生自信心,提高学生的英语水平。

Based on the current condition of English teaching in the independent college, covertly stratified teaching has been conducted in Beihai College of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Using empirical studies method, a research has been done to inspect the effects on the students of two classes, grade 2012 according to covertly stratified teaching for a whole year. The research finds that:covertly stratified English teaching method can fully arouse students ’enthusiasm, effectively stimu-late students’interest in learning, cultivate students’self-confidence and help to improve students’English level.
