Safety engineering is a comprehensive, both theoretical and practical major, so practice teaching plays an important role in the cultivation of talents in colleges. This paper, combining the writer's own teaching practice, analyzes the current drawbacks in the practice teaching and proposes relevant countermeasures for improving the effectiveness.
