由于地区发展差异的原因，西部高校体育课程改革的发展滞后。本文从体育课程改革的指导思想入手，以西部高校体育课堂教学与课外、校外的体育活动有机结合，西部高校体育课程与社会为主线，提出新时期适合西部高校体育课程发展的“三维”结构理论。

Due to the reason of the difference of regional development, the development of the western university sports curriculum reform lag.In this paper,from the guiding ideology of physical education curriculum reform, in the western col eges and universities sports classroom teaching and extracurricular organic combination, after-school sports activities,the western col eges and universities sports curriculum and the society as the main line, put forward the suitable for the development of the western col eges and universities sports curriculum in the new period "three-dimensional structure" theory.
