旅游行业是国民经济中重要的支柱行业，随着星级酒店的不断增加，酒店英语人才需求增加，作为培养一线员工的高职教育成了培养酒店英语人才的重要基地。为了培养好酒店英语人才，分析了当前高职酒店英语教学中出现的问题，为提高酒店英语课程教学的有效性，提出了相关的对策以及保障因素。

Tourism industry is an important pillar industry in national economy .With the continuous increase of star-rated hotels ,there is great demand for hotel English talents and higher vocational colleges are becoming the talents training base for training the frontline staff .This essay points out problems existing in current hotel English teaching in higher vo-cational colleges ,and puts forward relevant strategies for improving teaching efficiency .
