雷达扫描图像的图像信息单一,大部分为黑色背景,运用传统的1/8图像插值算法放大显示不仅运算复杂度高,处理延时大,而且会使雷达目标航迹的图像边缘十分模糊,难以得到满意的视觉效果。为此,结合Canny算子检测雷达扫描图像的边缘,提出了一种雷达图像1/8插值改进算法。实验结果表明,经本文算法插值放大的雷达扫描图像的目标边缘清晰,且算法复杂度较低,便于硬件实现,可实现实时图像缩放。目前该算法已成功应用于雷达站某系统的图像处理模块。

As the image information of radar scanning image is of singleness, where most background is black, the amplification display using the conventional algorithm of 1/8 image interpolation not only results in the higher operation complexity and bigger processing delay, but also makes the image edge of radar target track completely obscure, thus hard to achieve the satisfactory visual effect. This paper puts forward an improved algorithm of radar image 1/8 interpolation in terms of Canny operator detecting radar scanning the edge of image. Experiment results show that the target edge of radar scanning image amplified by this proposed interpolation algorithm is clear, the algorithm complexity is lower, ease to be implemented in hardware and available for real-time image zooming. At present, this proposed algorithm has been applied to a certain system’s image processing module in radar station.
