γ探测器γ/n甄别能力是表征测量信号质量和可靠性的一个重要指标,本工作采用MC模拟统计收集极输出的净电子数的方法,对真空康普顿探测器的γ/n甄别能力进行了计算,并应用强钴源和DD中子源对其进行了实验验证。结果表明:在0.1~20 MeV能段,这种真空康普顿探测器的γ/n甄别能力均在一个量级以上;在探测器前端面增加聚乙烯屏蔽层,可以使γ/n甄别能力进一步提高数倍,应用于裂变能量主要区γ/n甄别能力可以远高于20倍。
γ探測器γ/n甄彆能力是錶徵測量信號質量和可靠性的一箇重要指標,本工作採用MC模擬統計收集極輸齣的淨電子數的方法,對真空康普頓探測器的γ/n甄彆能力進行瞭計算,併應用彊鈷源和DD中子源對其進行瞭實驗驗證。結果錶明:在0.1~20 MeV能段,這種真空康普頓探測器的γ/n甄彆能力均在一箇量級以上;在探測器前耑麵增加聚乙烯屏蔽層,可以使γ/n甄彆能力進一步提高數倍,應用于裂變能量主要區γ/n甄彆能力可以遠高于20倍。

Theγ/n discriminating ability of a γdetector is an important parameter to describe the quality and dependability of the measured signal .With the method of Monte Carlo simulation , we calculated the γ/n dis-criminating ability of a vacuum Compton detector by counting the electrons output by the electron collector , and performed relevant experiments with 60 Co source and DD neutron source .The results show that the γ/n discrim-inating ability of the vacuum Compton detector is much higher than 10 in the energy range of 0.1 MeV~20 MeV, and can even be increased by several times by placing polyethylene in front of the detector .It also means that the γ/n discriminating ability of the detector can be higher than 20 times in the fission energy zone.
