γ探测器γ/n甄别能力是表征测量信号质量和可靠性的一个重要指标，本工作采用MC模拟统计收集极输出的净电子数的方法，对真空康普顿探测器的γ/n甄别能力进行了计算，并应用强钴源和DD中子源对其进行了实验验证。结果表明：在0．1～20 MeV能段，这种真空康普顿探测器的γ/n甄别能力均在一个量级以上；在探测器前端面增加聚乙烯屏蔽层，可以使γ/n甄别能力进一步提高数倍，应用于裂变能量主要区γ/n甄别能力可以远高于20倍。

Theγ/n discriminating ability of a γdetector is an important parameter to describe the quality and dependability of the measured signal .With the method of Monte Carlo simulation , we calculated the γ/n dis-criminating ability of a vacuum Compton detector by counting the electrons output by the electron collector , and performed relevant experiments with 60 Co source and DD neutron source .The results show that the γ/n discrim-inating ability of the vacuum Compton detector is much higher than 10 in the energy range of 0.1 MeV~20 MeV, and can even be increased by several times by placing polyethylene in front of the detector .It also means that the γ/n discriminating ability of the detector can be higher than 20 times in the fission energy zone.
