This article described the examination reform from a written-centered to a process-centered nursing management course. The written-centered examination focused on basic knowledge and the score proportion decreased from 70%to 30%. The process-centered examination tested students' learning attitudes, basic practical skills, participation degree, problem-solving ability, and performance in teamwork and the score proportion increased to 70%. The examination reform focused on nursing students' competence and improved their nursing management knowledge and practical ability.
