Engineering optics is an important course of photoelectric information engineering and measure and control technology and instrument specialty. There are problems such as formula being complex and content being abstract existed in the process of teaching. To solve these problems, measures including interesting teaching content, visualizing teaching means, and practical teaching methods are taken for reformation of the course system. The results show that the enthusiasm of students is increased obviously and good teaching effect is obtained.
