The practical teaching is a kind of teaching activity of imparting knowledge, forming skills and improving abilities. According to the general requirements of the ?Excellent Engineering Training Program?, expertise, abilities and quality of the excellent engineers are analyzed, the overall design of each essential element of the school-based practical system and enterprise-learning practical teaching system is conducted, and based on “Excellent Program” the construction of practical teaching system ?centering on abilities”is researched, some beneficial work is done to foster reserve talents of excellent engineers.
