介绍王力宁教授从哮喘的发病基础谈治哮防喘的用药特点，提出了小儿哮喘宜分三期序贯治疗。哮喘发作期注重温肺、化痰、平喘，慢性持续期（缓解期）选用理脾、化痰、养阴之品，稳定期重在滋阴、补肾、抑痰，及在治哮防喘中慎用升提类中药。
