实验使用慕尼黑音乐经验问卷MUMU(Munich music questionnaire)和人工耳蜗音乐评估软件Mu.S.I.C (musical sounds in cochlear implant)进行评估。
實驗使用慕尼黑音樂經驗問捲MUMU(Munich music questionnaire)和人工耳蝸音樂評估軟件Mu.S.I.C (musical sounds in cochlear implant)進行評估。

Objective To assess the music melody and timbre perception abilities of adults with cochlear implants. Methods Thirteen adult cochlear implant recipients and forty normal-hearing adults participated in this study. Munich music questionnaire(MUMU) and musical sounds in cochlear implant(Mu.S.I.C) were used to assess the music experience, melody and timbre perception for both normal-hearing adults and adult cochlear implant recipients. Results The age and music experience of normal-hearing subjects and cochlear implant subjects matched each other. The average scores of melody discrimination and instrument identification test for cochlear implant recipients were 69.3% and 51.2%,respectively.The average scores of melody discrimination and instrument identification for normal-hearing participants were 80.4% and 85.3%, respectively. The differences between the two groups were significant (P=0.000). Conclusion The adult cochlear implant recipients perform significantly poorer in melody and timbre perception in comparison with normal-hearing listeners.
