本试验测定了香蕉果实采收时倒数7片叶叶面积和单株果重、果指数、果指长、果串长、果梳数等5个经济性状。通过对倒数7片叶叶面积与各经济性状的相关与回归分析，探讨了叶面积与各经济性状的相关规律。研究结果表明：倒数第1片叶叶面积与各经济性状无显著相关；倒数第2片叶叶面积与果串长及果重呈显著相关；倒数第3、4、5、6、7片叶叶面积与果梳数、果串长及果重呈显著相关；且倒数第5、7片叶以及相邻的倒数第5、6、7片叶叶面积与果指长呈显著相关。
