示波器等仪器虽能直观地显示简谐振动的合成结果，但其显示的图形不太稳定且无法演示合成过程。针对以往演示仪器的不足，利用L ED灯模拟了示波器来实现简谐振动的合成和光的5种偏振态，具有连续动态的图形显示。该演示仪不但能显示合成图形，还可实现动态地演示合成的过程。

Instruments such as oscillograph could show the results of the composition of simple harmonic motions ,but their displays of graphics are unstable .To overcome the shortcomings of pre-vious equipments ,the author suggested an improved way to demonstrate the composition of simple harmonic motions and five polarization states of light using LED and designed an improved demonstra-tion instrument .T he instrument could show coutinuously and dynamically the process of composition as well as display the graphics of the results .
