菜名的翻译不仅是语言翻译问题,在某种意义上也是文化的传承。本文通过对现存菜名翻译中存在问题的分析,运用直译和意译的方法对菜名的翻译提出了改进建议。本文认为,在现有翻译方法的基础上如能加上感官动词并译出菜名原有的文化内涵将会更好地把中华美食文化传播出去。

The translation of dish name is not only the problem of language translation, is also the cultural heritage. In this paper, based on the analysis of the problems existing in the translation of dish name, put forward the suggestions of translation methods of literal translation and free translation of dish names. This paper thinks, if we can add sensory verbs and culture connotation of translation of dish name will better spread out the Chinese food culture.
