报道了以4-氰基戊酸二硫代苯甲酸(CPADB)作为链转移剂,4,4'-偶氮双(4-氰基戊酸)(ACVA)作为引发剂,采用可逆加成裂解链转移法(RAFT)实现了2-丙烯酰胺-2-甲基丙磺酸(AMPS)、α-甲基丙烯酸(MMA)、N,N-二乙胺基甲基丙烯酸乙酯(DEAEMA)的可控自由基聚合。通过调节[单体]:[引发剂]:[链转移剂]的比例(50∶0.2∶1,100∶0.2∶1,500∶0.2∶1)合成了不同聚合度的均聚物。所得聚合物具有分子量可控,分子量分布窄(PDI=1.08-1.17)的特性,显示了可控聚合的特点。本文的结果对制备一系列结构、分子量可控的聚电解质(DPn=50~500, PDI=1.08~1.17)有指导意义。

We reported controlled synthesis of methacrylic acid, 2-(diethylamino) ethyl methacrylate and 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (three electrolyte-type monomers) via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization with the chain transfer agent (CTA) (4-cyanopentanoic acid)- 4- dithiobenzoate and initiator (I) 4,4’- azobis(4- cyanovaleric acid) in homogeneous aqueous media. Three distinct [monomer]0:[I]0:[CTA]0 ratios (50:0.2:1, 100:0.2:1, 500:0.2:1) were conducted. The polymerizations exhibited the characteristics of a controlled/“living”polymerization which demonstrated well controlled molecular weight and low molecular weight distribution. Finally, the results of this investigation were used as a guide for the preparation of a series of well-defined polyelectrolytes (DPn=50-500, PDI=1.08-1.17) in high yield.
